Acclimating to the V20

620 miles so far on my Vendetta and I took my first KOM on it today
It's a short one , a flat 1 mile segment at 27.9 mph.

For me, the longer segments are easier to KOM. The short ones can be real pukers. Have fun!

Oh yes.....Here too. We have some world class cyclist . We keep flopping KOM's back back and forth.
I'm loosing more than I can get back these days. One day last spring I took a KOM from a guy ( Bruce) I have been riding with for years and literally 5 min later he took it
back. We were on the segment at the same time and didnt know it. We had a good laugh.
Same guy that I took the KOM from yesterday.... I'm sure that I wont keep it for long
I only have 6 KOM's....
My buddy Bruce has......I kid you not....200 KOMs !!!

Helpful hints:

I am invlulnerable to most of those. Water in the tyres? My Grasshopper has Tannus. Stone in the pedal? I have heel-clips of my own design, not clipless. Indexing? My Grasshopper has IGH, my Silvio has a friction shifter. Brakes? I have disk brakes.

Actually I have total invulnerability to that sort of thing: Nobody would need to do it to me.

My longest standing KOM came from a ride home (in my truck) with Wahoo still running on the bike sitting in the bed!
