Affordable "Cruzbike" Short Cranks

Other than the trademark violation, these might work very well! I sent inquiries to multiple Chinese companies about making short cranks several years ago. Maybe this is the result.

Yikes. Having a crank bolt sheer off is bad enough, but deadly potentially on an upright where the entirety of the riders body is often bearing down on just the cranks - especially in an MTB situation. :eek:

Here in the US it would be a better bet to go with these on Amazon. Better securing method as well to avoid any shearing issues. Unfortunate name on these ones though. ;)

Maybe something with a steel/chromoly axle is safer. These ones by Goldix are even better! They are HollowTechII compatible.
