Just putting finishing touches on carbon frame electric bike.
Have not been riding for six months due to back injury, took opportunity to build a comfortable bike.
First 30 klm shake down ride yesterday, bike felt light for electric, nice plush ride with big tyres and carbon frame, at 68 I’m going for comfort over speed.
That being said , 20 amp hr battery is good for over 100 klms range, pedal assist at around 22 klms hr.
Can cruze at 30 klms hr top power level for around 60 klms
Bike is well behaved, no hands riding, no prob, pretty happy.

Does the motor have a power or cadence sensor attached?
Has both throttle and cadence sensor.
Throttle is great for getting started, especially on hills.
I’ve gone to flat pedals, after riding clipped in most of my life, again as I get older it’s another thing less to stress about, did not feel as connected at first but am used to them now, can get the feet down quickiy.
