Any speculation on the next V20?

Two new colors is all the Facebook post mentioned (yellow will be back!) but does any body have any hopes for the next generation of V20. Next weeks announcement may just be new colors but I am hoping for a new frame with disc brakes and thru axles. Neater cable management would be nice too. Are there any areas of improvement you would like to see? I guess we will know in a weeks time.

2 new colours shouldn`t be the only changes. Like @Steve Short mentioned trough axles, direct disc mount and space for wider tires. (a distributor in Germany would also be nice). maybe the boom made from carbon.....well it`s all speculation we will know it soon.
i am looking forward the get the framset soon...but import to germany is a p... in the a.s

I have a question: why are rim brakes used instead of disc brakes on the V20? Is it economical or is there a performance advantage? Just curious... thanks.

Rim brakes are generally a bit lighter than disc brakes, so there is that. But, my suspicion is that the current V20 frame/fork just slightly predates the movement of performance oriented road-only bikes towards disc brakes. I'd be pretty shocked if the standard build of the new V20 didn't include flat-mount disc brakes.

The current V20 has disc brake mounts but it is more of an afterthought added to an older frame just like most manufacturers first disc attempt. I'm confident the new frame will be a designed from the start as a disc frame and maybe it will still have rim mounts too.

I’m grateful that such a bike exists at all in the market of today.

we cannot expect such “improvements” if any quickly from a small niche family company.

I’m sure the powers that be are abreast of current standards fad or otherwise and seek to provide universal satisfaction. Impossible right.

tyre clearance front fork definitely. Through axles ...... meh. I’m thinking front tyre flats.Colours ooh lovely yellow .disc brakes flat mount post mount meh. Flat mount looks nicer.

I guess we will see soon. Go the mighty mighty vendetta.

the vendetta has long had the ability to run post mount disc brakes a long long time before road bike disc braking common sense. My 2014 V2 has post mounts. I’m thinking v1.5 also ran with post mounts. To the vault.......I go..........

August 2012 both the Silvio V2.0 and Vendetta V1.5 come out with post mount disk brake mounts, while ALL the Softriders had front disk brake mounts and the Quest v1.0 F+R disk in Sept 09
