Has anyone tried Tannus Armour tire inserts on a cruzbike, a couple of roadies I ride with are using them and no flats. One rider didn't even put air in them and rode 60miles no problem.
Any thoughts

I rode Tannus solid tires on my DF for years. No flats and a lot less maintenance. I just got the tire inserts for my birthday. I will keep you posted when I get them installed.

I don't use them on my V20. I use Tannus Armour inserts on my DF trekking 29 x 2.5" tires with a kevlar liner between the tire and the Tannus. I have a normal tube inside the Tannus Armour. I never get flats and the rate of air loss is very very low at a nominal pressure of 45 psig. I never noticed much drop in efficiency but I don't care about efficiency much either on that bike. Had them in the wheels for about three years. The Priority 600X bike has a belt drive and Pinion 12-speed sealed oil-filled gear box, so it is bulletproof and essentially zero maintenance. Rides over anything and is not a speed demon. I will stick with Conti 5000 25 or 28mm Grand Prix and Conti tubes for the V20. It is a speed demon, or a lazy person bike at normal speeds.

I haven’t tried Tannus Armour on a Cruzbike specifically, but I’ve used them on other bikes. They definitely add some peace of mind, especially if you're prone to flats. They can make the ride feel a bit stiffer, though, so it’s a trade-off. Impressive that your buddy rode 60 miles without air — that’s the kind of reliability they offer! Might be worth considering if you're looking for a flat-free ride.
