Probably not much difference...

I haven't seen a Quest 3, but I doubt there would be much difference in suitcase packing. As I read it, the elimination of the front shock is about the only real difference. On the Quest 2, I've found that removing the small chrome derailleur fork-plate makes for a better fit in the Samsonite F-Lite 30" case. Perhaps this wouldn't be required on the Quest 3 fork, but it only takes a few seconds to do, so I don't see it as much of a benefit. I would probably remove it anyway because its very convenient to stand the frame on the front forks for the initial re-assembly of the bike (with the plate installed, the bike won't stand level on the forks). I typically assemble the front triangle, rear shock, and seat/backrest with the bike standing on the forks. I then flip it upside-down for attaching the wheels, deraiileur, and SRAM Dual Drive clickbox I've gone through the assembly/disassembly process about a dozen or so times now, and it is typically taking 30 - 40 minutes to pack into the case, and 45 miutes to an hour to assemble - depending on whether I need to make any brake adjustments. Typically, I can use the adjustment knobs on the brake levers for this, but sometimes I must reset the position of the brake-mounts themselves. The derailleur and SRAM DualDrive clickbox seem to stay in proper adjustment.

Hope this helps? Perhaps there are other differences in the models that I am not aware of?!?
