The Avalon...
... has been delivered in two configurations; one has been successfully converted and the other cannot be because of its top tube configuration.
The one that works has the top tube starting out roughly level at the seat post tube and rising to meet the head tube. The level section is near the seat tube.
The one that doesn't work has the top tube rising at the seat tube end, and leveling off at the head tube.
Your seat height will be in the 27 - 28 inch range, as I remember. This can work if you're fairly tall or have long legs.
