beach path and some road rash

Last week I did a 40 mile ride on the Silvio to Redondo beach with no problems. The area around Venice beach did have a lot of sand on some really twisty areas where common sense says slow down. With the Silvio I just blast through there with no wheel slipping. The next day rode the next day rode the Giant through the same area at the same speed when the bike just let go around an off camber sandy hairpin turn.No damage to the bike and some road rash for me not really bad. This was my first Cruzbike road rash in 3800 miles of riding. Some areas you just have to slow down. Jack

So Jack, is that your Giant conversion Cruzbike? (Does this bike have suspension of any kind?)

Do you still have the Cannondale, Joshua and Downtube conversions?

It was the Giant with no suspension.I only bought 1 kit so just keep 1 conversion at a time.I do plan on riding at a little smarter in the future. Jack
