HI all
I was just out in Colorado for a business trip last week. One night we drove to Boulder Colorado for dinner. This is bike heaven. All the streets have wide bike lanes, the buses have bike racks, all the street corners had bike racks which were filled and there were bike shops everywhere. Very friendly towards the biking community and outdoor activities in general. They are right at the foot of the Rockies, have thousands of acres set aside for open space, many miles of bike and hiking trails and a very green government. City vehicles are hybrids or plug ins that charge up at the Town Hall off of solar cells mounted on its roof. IN the middle of January it was in the 60's and sunny. It's a very dry climate and mild all year. Unlike here in Northern Massachusetts where it was 0 again today.
If my house was worth anything in this market, I'd move tomorrow to Boulder to enjoy that kind of lifestyle.
