I have mounted a Brain-Box on my Silvio using several lengths of PVC tubing and elbows. The finished product is shown below. The installation uses two existing seat holes in Silvio 1.5. It has proven to be relatively stiff.
I use the strap at the base of the Brain-Box to snug it down. Other than that, the installation is pretty clean. There is no interference with the rear brake or cable.
The painted tubes are shown below. I use large washers on each side of the seat to spread the load, which can be quite large, depending on what you carry in the Brain-Box. There are rubber washers between the metal ones on each side of the seat to protect the finish.
The parts are shown below. The two vertical tubes are each 9" long. The horizontal tube is 6" long. Only the two lower elbows need to be bonded. It is best to dry fit the assembly on the Silvio so that side of the vertical tubes touch the plastic seat trim; mark the position of the elbows; remove the assembly; bond the elbows a couple of degrees inward so that the vertical tubes are pushed hard against plastic seat trim when the assembly is screwed down.
