Broken Derailleur Hanger!!

Hi There,

So I recently purchased an S40 and I wasn't a big fan of the Microshift drive train on the bike so I brought to my LBS to put an old Apex-1 drivetrain that I had on an older DF bike.

Unfortunately, while at the LBS, the S40 fell over and the Derailleur Hanger broke. The LBS has reached out to Cruzbike for a replacement hanger, (2 replacements actually incase this happens again.) but they haven't heard back regarding any details.

Is it possible to use any 3rd party hangers on the S40? I'm a bit stuck at the moment and any help would be much appreciated!

Contact Cruzbike directly...I had to replace mine. They got one right out to me.

I wonder why they don't just have them for sale on the webstore? They sell proprietary chainstay clamps, so why not the hangers?

Maybe ask them when you call? I'm sure there's a 'good' reason...

I'm sure they can get one to ya soon Shawn. Might as well buy 2 and have a spare just in case. It'll save you on the shipping charges so you'll likely save money on the long run.
