I now have this bike set up the way I want it.I have 2 cruiser bars the one that worked best has less rise.The seat angle is perfect no butt pain at all.During this mornings ride got it up to 25mph on the flats.The seat hight is just right in traffic. The kit works just fine on a hardtail just keep the seat hight below 26in. and spend some time setting the bike right. I tried the bars in about 5 positions. Jack

Can you give me a bit more information about your bars? How wide? How much rise? I'll be ordering new bars for my conversion kit bike soon, so I'd appreciate your expertise. Thanks.

Try to get some bars around 25in or 635mm with not much rise and 25.5 clamp.I posted a few more pictures on the conversion board. Jack
