Here it is ! This one took me longer than I thought it would 3 days.Had to make a new seat bracket because of the smaller Trek frame. No other real problems.Seat hight is around 26 in but is 25 with some weight so no problem there. I did a short test ride just to see if everything was working and it just felt right with no tweaking. That suspension is really nice after 4 or 5 hard tails. Jack

Breaks my heart to know the Avalon will never touch the quality here. I can however work on my seat angle though.     with envy.
Jack I don't see a Sofrider with anything better than this. What am I missing?

After yesterdays ride I added a spedo mount and water bottle. The pick up wire on the spedo was to short for a bar mount so tried this mount, easy, cheap. The Trek had no water bottle mounts but hose clamps will work just fine.Today I did a 2 hour ride on the twisty and sandy beach bike path and found out a few things.1-water bottle and spedo are both in the right place.I never touched the bottle with my legs once. 2- The Y-26 is just as fast as my hard tails. For anyone thinking of doing a conversion stick with the Y frame. The spedo mount is just a 1in.PCV t and a short piece of 1 in PCV pipe. Just file out the back of the tee to fit the kit riser and drill a few holes for some cable ties. Jack

Rolling should be better with suspensionn. Every ripple through your body from hitting a bump is lost energy - limit those, save energy, roll faster.

That is my problem. I hit a bump and vibrate for an extended period of time and I thought the more air I got the better I would be......... :geek:

Just weighed the bike 44lbs. On fairly flat ground speed is close to Silvio 14-18mph even bursts to 24mph. With some hills I would rather be on the Silvio. Jack
