Silvio is the world's only recumbent road bike that is fully compatible with a road bike groupset and wheels -- any grouppos you like.
Well, I wrote that before campy heralded its 11-speed set up. However, the bell shape on the Silvio fork is quite pronounced and should give plenty of clearance.
Thanks John and Gil,
I will be ordering my Silvio in about a week. The only problem is I will not be ridding until Spring. It is going to be a long winter.
I had a clearance issue with Campy Century 10 with a Campy Comp Triple derailleur on my Silivo 1.0. As spacer was required that Doug designed to achieve the necessary clearance. This clearance issue may have been resolved with the 1.5.
Hi Rod
I have used Campy for 15 years. I prefer the 1 lever, 1 function principle. I had Shimano Ultegra before that and it was OK. I have not used sram so I cannot comment on that.
