I'm offering my Cruzbike V20c for sale – a top-tier recumbent that’s been thoughtfully upgraded. This bike currently retails for around $6,000 new, without any additional upgrades, making this a fantastic value for a serious rider.
I purchased the bike almost new from the original owner and have since made significant enhancements to optimize its performance. I replaced the original Microshift components with SRAM Red eTap ($1,200), a high-performance 11-speed wireless shifting system. The Boyd wheels ($1,100) were originally purchased new by the previous owner and are paired with Schwalbe Pro One Road Race Tubeless tires (700c x 32) for exceptional road performance. It retains the original 50/34 crankset and an SRAM 10-28 cassette. I also replaced the brake discs to eliminate rubbing, along with new cables and housings during the wireless shifting conversion. The handlebars were also rewrapped, and included is a Ventisit seat pad and the original headrest. There is a light mounting stub on the front for a headlight.
The bike also comes with its original pedals - wheels with tires.
For an additional $200, I'll include a new Cruzbike Race Case and a new adjustable headrest.
I’ve logged about 200 hours indoors and an estimated 3,000 miles on the road. The chain is original. The bike has never been down on pavement, I am an experienced V20 rider.
For interested buyers, I’m located in Columbia, NC, and would be happy to drive up to 250 miles to meet you for pickup. If shipping is required, I can package it securely in two boxes, estimating less than $300 to anywhere in the lower 48.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! If you're nearby, you're welcome to test my V20 on my trainer, or take this bike out for a ride to see just how well it performs. If you are wondering if I am abandoning Cruzbike? Absolutely not, you will see me out on the road on my v20, which I just love.
