Curved slider opinions

Should I get the curved slider

I need opinions from the Vendetta Veterans . I'm considering the Curved Slider to drop the bars a bit. I like the amount of extension and feel fine when on the drops but I feel like my hands are a little high when on the hoods. I never plan on putting a cage on the slider and doubt that I will go with longer chain stays because I like my crank position as is. Thoughts ??? Anyone have one that the would like to sell ?? Thanks

I guess I also need to see if my mirrors will still work if I dropped the bars 2"....I might just see my shoulders. :)
Mirrors should not worry you too much. For less than $20 you can get mirrors with variable height from ebay. So, first get the handlebars at the most comfortable position then get an appropriate mirror.

For example I use like the one below, I can adjust the height as needed.

I found that I prefer a tight cockpit.
And
My mirrors don’t look over my shoulder very well - I just deal.
And
It makes it a little harder to get up in stop-n-go riding (commuting) but the comfort while riding outweighs that.
And
Visibility is better.
And
It will change some angles on your bars.

I think you will prefer it.

I am 5'10. I have the long slider and straight boom , if I decide to revert back to the smaller chainstays then the curved slider will definetly be in the configuration. I like how aero it is but long hill climbs ... definitely go for shorter chainstays and curved slider.

I removed the final headset spacer and cut the steerer tube 3/8”. That dropped the bars about 1/2” and that might be all I need. I’ll test like that for a while.
Thanks for all of the input.
