Excellent story telling in addition to excellent racing! After tackling the Redbud Century this spring on my S40 with 7500' of climb (including 2 20%+ climbs) I think rather than the DMD next I'll shoot for Hancock Indiana's Flat 50! 3 miles of 12-13% in the middle of a double century would test anyone on 2 (unmoterized) wheels!
