DF rider requested Cruzbike attachment

I ride weekly with a group of other old folks, mostly on DFs. We went for a ride Saturday & I was feeling a bit frisky (couldn't help it - rolling terrain, no more than 5-6% grades and tending downhill - the S40 eats that stuff up) so I took off on the first descent. I stopped to wait for the group after a bit and when they caught up one of the guys requested something like this as an attachment to allow them to hang onto my rear wheel easier:

just replace it with an elastic rope.
