extremely cheaply made bike

Looks like Cruzbike finally updated their bikes. Those of us who were early adopters really got taken on the bikes for the cost. The components were so cheap as was the frame it was like getting a Walmart bike and paying a 1000% premium for it. Glad they are finally making a bike that is close to what they are charging...

Re: V1 Rear quick release needed

Hi Gary,

The V1 has a 135mm rear hub spacing.

You will need a Wheels Manufacturing #11 or #12 axle (9.5 mm diameter) and a rear skewer (135mm).

I have sourced these parts from Harris Cyclery before. My V1 has a rear QR setup using a #12 axle, so I know it works.

Tom Deakins is very helpful at Harris; he can get you what you need.

Be well,

Re: V1 Rear quick release needed

I just took my wheel into my local bike shop and told them to put a QR axle in with a 135mm nut overlock. Took all of 15 minutes for them to install, add spacers. They changed the dust cap also I think. Anyway it wasn't difficult.
