First Quest ride
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I had my first Quest Ride. I got to ride Defjack Quest in chula vista, Ca.
First it was great to ride, I think I did real well for the first time.
At first I really noticed the heavy front end of the bike but that feeling goes away with speed above a couple of MPH'S.
Jack and I did a 20 mile ride on the Bayshore Bikeway, the weather was great and there was a lot of bikers on the path.
Things I noticed about the bike:
1. It was fun to ride!!!
2. I still don't like disk brakes that much.
3. The twist shifters had a lot of inadvertent shifts, they shift way to easy.
4. The shocks were great on the rough roads in C.V.
All in all a great bike to ride!
They put disk brakes on the bike to make it easy to change tire sizes and for that it's a great idea as you can run anything from 406" to 26"(559) tires.
I am going to start with a cruzbike conversion kit because I think it will be fun to build.
