I am doing a little spring cleaning and came across an old frame (without a rear triangle) that I'd recommend for kit-builder with better than average technical skill. I've listed the frame on Ebay, where you can see a photo if it. Bidding starts at $10 and closes in 7 days.
"This is a used Cruzbike Sofrider frame. It was a prototype frame. Note the cable stops that are not seen on the production version. Also note that there is no rear triangle. There are some minor dings and scratches in the paint. I have only one of these. This frame was part of a bike that was used for testing and over the past couple years its parts were cannibalized for other uses. It has a perfectly level and low top bar, a feature hard to find on MTBs these days. For someone building a Cruzbike kit, this would make a very nice foundation for a great bike. You'd need to find a rear triangle from another similar MTB. Shipping is $15 in the lower 48. Outside of that, contact me and we'll work something out."
