I installed the Freerider handlebars and after a couple of 20 mile rides I like them very much. I had a custom made equally wide handlebar before but with everything mounted on top of the handlebar would obstruct my view. This puts everything further forward and more open view plus the feeling is cool on a high speed corner. I also modified a fork to replace the standard hardware that comes with the conversion. No suspension but I removed a lot of weight. I also have the fork setup to allow brakes for both 700 and 26" wheels for quick change over. Like Doug, this is what I'm riding this week, and here in Florida this time of year, other than very windy, perfect riding everyday.
