Gear on the V20 during colder weather

First ride today after installing the Moose bag on the V20. I just managed to fit the Moose bag next to the existing Fastback bag, which is rivited to the seat. The 28mm Conti tire would hit the Moose bag but I used the tywrap trick to hold the bag forward of the rear tire. Now the emergency repair items go in the Moose bag and there is room for extra clothing, gloves, etc, in the Fastback bag. Have not decided yet if using the Moose bag will be seasonal or stay on the bike year around.

I have pics but still can not get them posted from my ipad. In the past I have had to reduce the size of the pics but now the forum gives me a popup error msg which indicates “The requested file can not be found”.

Anyway, I cut the velcro straps off the Fastback bag , drilled two holes in the seat in line with the pre-existing bottle cage holes. Then used four pop rivits with backing washers to mount the Fastback bag so it is suspended under the right side of the seat. It has worked fine for several years but I have wanted more storage capacity on the bike in colder weather without creating more aero drag. The Moose bag seems just right in my case.
