Has any recumbent rider tried Taiwan KOM challenge?

just asking, as it is famous and its in Taiwan, the centre of all cycing manufacturers, including Cruzbike.

Did nobody from Cruzbike, Performer or any other companies that make bents in Taiwan attempt to do the Taiwan KOM challenge? even finishing midpack would erase the notion that bents can't climb.

Would like to try it someday if I can.

I looked up the 2019 one, they don't let you descend, they shuttle you. Ofc some people love the descending part, but I think the organizers have no idea on organizing a descending part

Lame, I refuse to climb if I don’t get to risk my life on a descent. I cringe every time I hear of a rider climb some mountain and shuttle back down.
