how to attach triangle to headset?

Hello All,

This is a different conversion than on my fork question.

I am trying to attach the triangle to the headset. On this bike I don't have a zoom clamp and ape hangers. The triangle attachment only loosely fits on the headset. I need headset spacers or something.

I have not yet moved the crankset. After I do so I may find out that I need a longer handlebar stem.

Can anyone tell me how to attach the triangle to the headset?

Hello Jeff,
You might find that after you sit on and test for knee clearance that you have a different problem than what you have stated here.

If I read your question right and see what I think I'm seeing; you need a 1 to 1-1/8" quil stem adapter. The adapter for the front triangle is meant for 1-1/8" forks.

You need to use the Cruzbike mast and get thread less adapter and a new thread less stem. All the parts in the kit are there for a good reason . The Cruzbike will work a lot better when its put together the right way. Jack
