Round One has wrapped up last night , and Round Two of the Zwift Racing League runs November 17 through December 22! This is a great time to get started in virtual racing and introduce upright riders to the recumbent community.I believe ZRL is one of the best ways to get more out of your smart trainer. Instead of riding alone and watching the minutes tick by, you have a race to prepare for, teammates to work with, tactics to learn, and a common goal to chase. Every race challenges you to improve, and every week gives you something new to look forward to.
And here's the good news: you don't have to be a powerhouse to be a valuable teammate. ZRL offers an opportunity to develop your fitness, learn race skills, and discover just how much difference teamwork can make. You'll learn to use the draft, manage your effort, respond to attacks, pace yourself on climbs, and make better use of every watt you produce.
You don't need years of racing experience, either. You just need an interest in improving, a willingness to learn, and the desire to have some fun along the way.
So, why not make Round Two your introduction to virtual team racing?
You can gather a few friends and form your own team, or if you'd rather not organize a team yourself, we can help you find one that fits your ability and goals. There's no need to figure everything out on your own.
Indoor training doesn't have to be a solo grind. It can be competitive, social, challenging, and a whole lot of fun.
