After 5 years in the market, a number of bicycle reviews, nomination for bike of the year two years running and an active presence on BROL forums, how can the only bicycle guides promoted by BROL not mention the FWD MBB?

No, frankly I think Bob Bryant still does not regard the cruzbike as a real recumbent. He never seemed to come to grips with it and took refuge in the '20 years experience' argument. .. yeah, the same year over and over again.

  Yeah, but he can hook you up with plans to build a quadcycle out of PVC pipe.... That should qualify him for a pass, no?

I guess I'm just left out on a limb. What guides? The BROL guide link sez it will be back "Spring 2008"...so no use there. If you go to the "links" section, Cruzbike is not listed as a "sponsor" (nor is there a manufacturer's link or a forum link). However, the link to Recumbents.com works and they still have the best buyers guide...including Cruzbikes.

If you type "mbb" into BROL's search engine, you get a link to the Silvio article.

What am I missing?

My fault, I should have presented the evidence first: http://www.bentrideronline.com/?p=730 and when I do check it, there are three spiels referenced. One refers to FWD without clearly defining the MBB format, the second uses all the usual acronyms in the survey of options but omits the FWD and FWD MBB options, the third by Bryan Ball defines SWB, LWB CLWB Lowracers and Trikes/Quads. Yeah.

Oh, aye. I wonder how recent that fluff is? Have you mentioned it to Bryan?

If I were me, I would write up a description to be inserted into each one and send it off. Make it appropriate to the style, etc., so it can be easily dropped in for an update. Better to be positive and give 'em something where they don't have to do any work.

There are some people that support you on BROL here is one of them http://www.bentrideronline.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=47092
He actually bought a Sofrider to test out the FWD and he is from Australia!
There is still hope I should think at BROL with some people. :)

Oh, sure. I know I was negative in this post. When I come up against R&D problems in my design efforts where I see no solution I do get frustrated sometimes and make a dumb post like this. There is a fabulous swell of support for cruzbike's FWD solution at BROL.

Trapdoor2 is right, drafting a sensible insert is the right way to go. Help them out.
