Loose Headset/Access?

Can anyone tell me how to get at the V20 headset to tighten it? I've got a small amount of play coming from the headset after about 2,000 miles of riding.

I pulled off the rubber cover to expose the hex bolt, but with the boom in place I see no way to get in there with a wrench.

I can mark the spot on the boom where the clamp is...then start to loosen bolts to pull it all apart . I don't want to pull apart more than I have to. Setting up the front triangle just right took months of tinkering so I would rather not start from scratch again.

If you have tightened your V2o headset would you clue me in?

You have to remove the horizontal bolt through the boom holding it down then tip it up out of the way high enough to tighten the bolt in question. Don’t forget to loosen the two side bolts a little so your not fighting them when you tighten the center bolt.

As I told someone this weekend, the CruzBike has this special built in feature that when you push its pedals harder it goes faster no matter what angle it’s pointed :lol
