Considering a pair of Quests, but have not been able to find any model Cruzbike to ride--or even see in the flesh. Looks perfect on paper, but need help understanding:
1--My x-seam is 43" but my wife is 35 1/2" barefoot [she's 5'1"]. Is she likely to find it a good fit?
2--I know that the 451 is rated down to 36"; what's the minimum size on the 559?
3--What's the difference in seat height between the two? Actual seat pan height above ground would be most helpful. [I realize many people prefer lower seats for aerodynamic efficiency, but we actually prefer a higher riding position for touring, simply for the view...though we also like the enhanced safety in traffic.]
4--I find that BB height relative to seat is a major factor in ride comfort. Seems like with an MBB the bracket height will also impact on control. Is a short person locked into the highest possible BB height? What's the vertical range of BB motion on the 451 from no extension to full extension? At zero extension, where is the BB in relation to the seat? [Same questions for the 559...]
5--I see lots of discussion about minimizing seat angle; how many degrees is the most upright position?
Thanks. BTW--if I can't find a bike to try, I plan to buy the 451 1st because both of us can ride, w/adjustments. If it works, my wife will keep the smaller wheels & I'll get a 559.
