I want to extend the top two attachment bars so I can lower the rack. Or find longer ones.

It is so close to the seat that it makes it hard to open the rear pack but there is plenty of room to lower it.

Thanks for your ideas. This is an S40

I believe the bars are standard for other racks (at least one I have, Axiom?) so you should be able to find replacements.

Some racks came with too-short upper bars. Cruzbike should be able to send you longer ones. Click the "Contact Us" link with your description.
In my case the upper bars were so short I could not even get the rack to attach.

Off the long run
To get the rack I wanted in the right place, I also had to get some 10mm M5 connector nuts. I debated using the other threaded bushing in the picture but that pushed it too high, and if I used a rack-top bag, definitley too close to the seat.
