Hi,
I highly recommend all new Cruzbike riders (or those who are just considering it) to look at "Kim's videos." I found that these helped me out a lot..
The biggest thing that helped me out that I haven't read or seen anywhere (not that I've done anything near an exhaustive search) is this:
* Whenever I was starting to feel like I was losing control, I removed my feet from the pedals.
The Cruzbike is unusual in how it couples steering and pedaling. I think this is what I personally had the hardest time getting used to. Whenever I felt like things were about "to go south", I removed my feet from the pedals and quickly became stable again.
Within the first two weeks, I no longer needed to use this technique. Indeed, after about a month, I started using clipless pedals (which I think gave me even more control over the bike).
Cheers,
Charles
