My first ride on the V20

I just took my V20 out for the first shake-down ride (12.5 miles). Test first in my office parking lot with figure 8's and making sure my shoes will release off the pedals fast enough. Took her out on a popular trail near by. I know that I'll eventually get over the "death" grip and relax the wrists a little more with each mile before I feel comfortable enough to group ride. Overall, it felt really stable going up hills. Lifting my head off the headrest (like on my Corsa) gave me instant balancing effect if I felt I was wandering too much.

@HeyMikey when i was acliimating myself to the v20, climbing was the place i felt most stable. my problem spots were super low speed turning and high speed downhill.

Like I stated i have been riding the S40 for about 2 months on a regular basis so once the build was completed I put in about 6 miles on the V20 and jumped in on my group ride. After about 6 miles into the ride I was feeling dialed in. Stayed in the back the whole ride.
I live in South Florida so the only climbs we have are bridges all i can say is WOW this bike climbs. You are so right about how the V20 is on hills.
Looking forward to November's ride the Horrible hundred!

When it came down to which bike to purchase, it was the $700 off sale that clinched it. I was seriously looking at both bikes. If I were to involve myself in a long tour (say 1000 miles or more of self sufficiency) the S40 would be the one.
