never been , but traillink made it sound like it was only next to a road.
Sanibel Island Shared-Use Paths
Not an out and back kind of ride. It,s really a network that covers much of the island.
You need a map. I think there was a tourist info shack on the main drag.
You can ride into a nature reserve ( fee required most days $3 ?? ) .
many hotels have loaner/rental bikes. restaurants are casual and not surprised by bike clothes.
No bike friendly trails in Captivia that I remember . All two lane, kinda narrow, only bridge.
