The issue is chain drag over the bottom of the front deraileur cage on any combination of gears other than the smallest two sprockets on the cluster, when using a long cage front derailleur. The shorter 15% of riders experience this problem. Do not ask for a boom to be sent to you unless you have a particularly short x-seam and are plagued by this particular problem, it is not a general issue upgrade. Medium and tall riders - this boom will serve you no differently to the one you already have. Plus I did not make sufficient to go to every one - it is remedial fix for short riders only, as they are the only ones that experience the symptom. The riders that have previously reported this experience to me, go ahead and tell me where you want the boom sent.
