Newbie turning point

So, despite coming from a fine upstanding Rans/Hase/Bacchetta background my curiosity finally won out and I decided to try a Cruzbike. Just to see if I liked it. Figured I probably wouldn't but that it was worth a try. Bought a used Sofrider and rode it for awhile. I was right--I didn't like it. I loved it!

The final turning point came near the end of a 20 mile spin when I blasted through a tight right-hander without even a thought of slowing down--the one where I always veered out and slowed down on the Bacchetta, never felt 'surefooted' on it--and caught myself grinning like an idiot and thinking "now this is how a bike oughta be!!!" Thanks John Tolhurst for such a great design!

Thus: bought a used Silvio 1.5 frameset. Sold the Bacchetta (a great bike but it's just not the right one for me). Now looking forward to building up the Silvio. Can't wait to see how it rides!
