Hi CBer's or Hopefuls,
I am looking to sell my Sofrider.
Upgraded parts include:
700c x 28 Gatorskins
Shimano 105 front and XTR rear derailleur
Truvativ 30/40/52 carbon fiber triple crank
Cane Creek AD-5 air shock for rear suspension
BB-7 front disk brake with a light rotor. Rear is a paul designs motolite V brake. This mullet combination allows swapping out different wheelsets.
Wheelset is hand built Mavic CXP33 rims with American classic disk hubs. American classic titanium skewers. shimano 12-28 cassette w/ 2 titanium cogs.
stem, seat, fork & frame are stock
I bought this from a gentleman in S.F. a couple of years ago. At first it was not my cup of tea, but a I came to love it. My reason for selling is that I have really poor circulation to my hands and feet and this bike does me no favors in that regard. My hands especially become quite painful the colder it gets. I am a year round rider ( great weather here in Sacramento, CA) but it will get down in the low 30's frequently in the wintertime. Essentially, once in drops below 55 degrees my hands become a major problem.
Right now it is just sitting in the garage. If it doesn't sell then, maybe it will be just a summertime bike. That is not a bad thing, maybe just not a financially prudent thing. Nonetheless, I thought I would throw it out there. By the by, I am 6'3" 180 and have probably put 2000 miles on the bike.
$800 plus packing and shipping. I think this is fair given the upgrades. I would also entertain (for the right price) selling the frame, fork, stem, and seat.
I tried to load more pics but was not able to. So please contact me for more pics.
