I now have about 500 miles on my kit and could not be happier. As I stated in an earlier post, it was a little harder than I expected to build and the learning curve to ride it was longer than I expected, but I am so glad I stuck with it. It is a dream to ride and I can go about twice as far and average 3-4 mph faster than my old bike. I have about $550 total into it, including upgraded components and $75 for the donor bike from Craigslist. Here is a pic (before and after)...I have added a mirror, headlight, and bottle holder since this picture:

- I like how you painted everything...makes for a very clean build. And for a $75 dollar donor bike, you have quite a bargain.
