Practical also as a "chair".

The company where I work builds structures for the oil industry and they built a new pear and extended an existing pear. They invited the workers and some guests to an outdoor ceremony.
Since I use my Sofrider to get to work I thought it would be very practical for this event. There was a brass band and there were several speakers. I had something comfortable to sit on while the rest had to stand. :) You can’t sit on an up right bike and be able to reach the ground with both feet. I also positioned myself so the speakers could see an interesting comfortable bike. The press was there they took a lot of pictures of the different speakers. You can also use you Sofrider as a “chair”. :D

I've had a good laugh with that, too. On group rides, when we stop for a breather, everybody gets off their bikes and sits in the grass, or something. I stay sitting on my bike. Somebody will ask, "Don't you ever get off that thing?" I always answer, "And do what, stand up? I have my chair, wherever I go!"
