Hi, I'm planning on getting a Cruzbike set up for touring. I was thinking of either getting a Sofrider or building up a mtn bike with the conversion kit.
One of the concerns I have is what do if the suspension fork were to have a mechanical problem (and yes I want to use a sus fork). We'll if I was using a standard mtn bike with the kit, in a pinch I don't think it would be too hard in most countries to find and swap in a new fork if necessary. Would this be the case for the Sofrider as well, could a standard (sus corrected)rigid or sus fork with a 1 1/8 steering tube fit this bike? Or is the Sofrider's head tube a custom size to fit it's own fork? thanks in advance.
