Selling my recently acquired 2021 Q45, which is the newer model with through-axle hubs and the Cane Creek ViscoSet headset. I went all in on the Cruzbike concept, and the Q45 in particular, thinking I’d be doing multi-day gravel trail rides. Family health issues now make that unlikely, so I’m going to return to my SWB recumbent for mostly paved rail-trail rides. At 73, I’m happy to still be riding.
I’ve put a little over 300 miles on the bike since buying, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. In that time, I’ve installed a Rockshox Monarch shock, which saved almost a pound and greatly improved the ride. I’ve also installed Planet Bike ALX fenders, the Cruzbike Ventisit full length seat cushion, the Cruzbike Sling Pack, and a conventional (non-quick release) Rockshox through-axle on the rear to make a much cleaner fender installation. It came to me with the rear rack and Cruzbike bottle cages installed.
I paid $2250 for the bike six weeks ago and have added over $500 in upgrades. Asking $2500. I have all the original parts including the seat pad, shock, quick release for the shock mount, quick release rear axle, extra seat brackets, and the Cruzbike tool kit.
Located near Dayton Ohio. I would much prefer selling in the local area; willing to drive up to 50 miles to a serious buyer.
