Q45 used with the Wahoo Kicker Snap

Has anyone setup their Q45 with the Wahoo Snap? If so, how? I want to stay "wheel on" here in Colorado Springs as we occasionally get some good days in the winter and I don't want to mess with reinstalling the wheel every time I want to get a quick ride in. Thanks

I use a 2019-S40 with a wheel-on trainer ( A Kickr Snap motor attached to a modified Cyclops trainer frame ! ;) .. long story).

I think the Q45 frontend is identical to an S40. So I believe it should work. The tyre, ideally, should be smooth with no treads otherwise it's going to be a noisy experience.

Question is, does your Q45 have a quick release or a through axle?
If it has quick release then you just need to install a heavy duty steel skewer and it should work.

For through axle, you will need a special through axle that allows you to clamp to the trainer. I think wahoo sells one. @Robert Holler can advice you on the correct thread pitch among the ones shown below.

Thanks for the response. My Q45 is a 2024 with a thru axel. still waiting on Wahoo for a reply, I was just checking here if someone had done it already. Looks like I will have to find a local dealer that has one too try a test fit.
