QR vs Thru Axle, which do you suggest?

Hi, I'm looking in the future to possibly get either a V20 or S40, and was looking at wheels; what type of axle attachment do you use, QR or Thru Axle?
And what are the advantages/disadvantages of each type?

Thanks in advance,

Denis

there are many wheels sets now that come with adapters for both, especially disc brake wheels. so if cruzbike change to a front thru axle (please, please and with flat mount brakes) you'd be covered and futureproofed. thru axle provides a better foundation for disc brakes since it provides a stronger, stiffer wheel to frame connection. if you run rim brakes qr is enough since this has been the way of the world for almost a century.....

For the drive wheel. All the current bikes, except the T50, have closed dropouts, but still use QR hubs. It's just the nature of how the front-end is put together. So you have to remove the skewer, put the wheel in, and then thread in the skewer. Because the dropouts are closed, you cannot torque your wheel out, even with disc brakes.

For the rear wheel, regular open dropouts on all the bikes.
