I got the kickstand at the local bike shop and took 1/2" copper tubing and hammered it on give it the necessary length (and it matched the bike color). Sorry I forgot the key item. $600.

I'm lowering the price to $500. I need to get the bike out of the basement. It's a great bike, I just can't use it.

Hi MGlenn - I'm interested if it could be shipped. LMK if you still have it and can discuss.

I've never packed a bike and just looking at the price of a box was $65. So it looks expensive. You would have to pay the shipping costs. Where do you live? A road trip might be interesting this time of year.

Hi -Thanks so much for the quick reply back! Pick up would be much easier but I'm too far away in Atlanta :-( to take long road trip and my husband not up for long drive.
Usually a bike shop will pack and ship, they provide the box and I could just pay them for the service. If you have a bike shop you like to use, I can call them to see if they'd be up for it (or I can just get in touch with bike shops in the area). Let me know what you think.

Can you let me know if you bought it new and how heavily used or maybe just provide a few more pictures. I can provide a phone number if want to move discussion off forum.
Thank you!
Lisa

I checked with the local bike shop and they will box it for $75 but they don't ship. I can take it to UPS and there should be some way for you to pay for it-if not we can work something out. I bought it new and have all the spare parts and user manuals etc. If you can post your email, I'll send close-up photos of all the parts. Mike

I have used shipbikes which uses Fed Ex. I created and paid for a shipping label on their web site then forwarded the label to the seller. Everything worked out fine. bikeflights is similar but uses UPS.
