Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top?

The ribs on the back of my Thor seat make it 'impossible' to use the OEM S40 seat attachment to secure the seat to the frame. I'd like to know what work around my fellow S40 owners have employed. TIA

Mine's only bolted at the bottom/front, Velcro-like tapes for the rest.

My Shimano mechanical disk brakes are constantly going out of adjustment. I need to adjust them every 200-300 miles. That's pretty odd. I have TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes on my S40. For the past couple thousand or so miles, I think I had to twist the little knob thing on the brake lines...

This is what I did too...

Has anyone tried modifying the 'support ribs' on the Thor seat by cutting small notches to allow for use of the stock half-moon seat attachment (see pic) designed for use with the stock seat? I'm wondering if doing so would significantly compromise the Thor seat?

Did the same. Between the tight Velcro hold and the zip tie, the Thor attached securely at the top.

I am working with Thor right now to produce one of his seats that will fit the S40 and V20 frames perfectly. It should be very similar to the one with the wide shoulders he is selling now. I sent him a frame several months ago - I am hoping to have a prototype to show off very soon.

That is what I am waiting for - but in the meantime, I have made my own - it is not as nice, but it fits me and the V20 perfectly!
Then I built a box to connect to the back of the seat. I cut flaps in the top so I can open and close while riding and get my bottles.
