RAGBRAI 2024???

Who is thinking of joining Cruzbike for this year's RAGBRAI? I have been curious about doing it for decades, but the discomfort of my elbows on regular bikes and lack of overall training have held me back. I just got a Q45 and love it already. I am interested in the big ride but a bit scared. I am in central Wisconsin, so winter riding to train is not practical, or even possible. But I am still interested in the ride. Talk to me!

Congrats! I wish I could join in the fun.
You should have enough time to become proficient at riding the Cruzbike. I do think you would enjoy the ride better if you train consistently. A smart trainer and a program like Trainer Road, Zwift, or others.

I plan on going , if you can do a thirty to 40 mile ride daily by mid July you will be fine. There is so much support , all levels of riders Plenty of time and sag support if needed. Biggest hurdle Low level of comfort , sleeping in tent no air conditioning, porta potties crowded campsites, maybe cold showers not a lot of privacy. However quite the experience. If you also do the charter recommended, it Will be less hassle

I imagine if you were ever going to do a long group ride this would be the one. I can say from doing years of event rides - the energy and crowd will do much to encourage you to put in the miles - way more than solo riding.

This is going to be an EPIC ride.
