Rattling head rest rails

The head rest rails on my 2.0 become loose and start to rattle just after a couple of rides. I re-tighten the scissor jacks, but they turn loose again. Does anyone have this problem? Not sure if threadlock would help here.

Is the head rest assembly the same on the s30 as ot is on the 2.0?

1. Jason's bracket is the ultimate fix
2. Loctite will definitely help with the scissors jack. You do need to tighten the scissors jack may more than you would think.
3. If you removed the rubber tubes from the headrest poles they do tend to wiggle loose , those are just inner tubes so, if needed, they are easy to recreate.

Quick solution Go buy some 1" wide gorilla duct tape then apply a few layers to the outside of the rail that get pressed against the frame and not the scissor clamps. This will allow the tubes to still move in and out but it makes them contact the frame a bit earlier in the clamps range of motion so you can tighten in more for a tighter hold. It's important the tape doesn't contact the clamps or everything will bind.

Correct solution is one of my Rojo Clamps but sadly I'm currently out of stock. If you want one send me a PM and I'll add you to a ever growing list of requests.
