S30 or S40

Hi,
I sold my V20 almost a year ago because of priorities and didnt have the time then to use it much. Now I have some regrets about that and might start a new build. But even if the vendetta is the fastest and coolest bike on the market I Think the S model will suit my goals best. I happens to have an option to buy a new S30 frame much cheaper then the cost of the s 40 frame kit and thats one good reason for me to pick the s 30,, But...
I imagine that the s 30 with dual suspension are more comfotable but the S40 with tyre options will probably be a very comfortable bike anyway…. the S 30 are maybe more aero because of the 28 degree seat angel when the S40 probably are a better climber due to lower weight and stiffer front. therefore I think the S 40 will be faster in total and also be a perfect tourer... But I have not even seen them live and have no experience...
So if thera are some who has experience of both I'm happy to here your plus and minus for each of them
.
Kind regards from Sweden!

The advantage of a S40 is that if you plan on installing a rack to carry panniers or a trunk bag, it already has the right eyelets and frame mounts. No jury rigging required. The suspension of a S30 can be duplicated with bigger tires, thus fewer moving parts.

I used to have a Thor seat with some springs mounted on it up by the headrest, (I bought the bike used) and the angle made it closer to an S35! So you can get the seat to be more upright if you wanted to. Not all S30's have a front suspension in the headset. Mine has it but I keep the pressure pretty high so that I only notice it if I hit a major bump in the road.

On aerodynamics, wearing more aero clothing would probably make me faster, but on routes with stoplights and stop signed intersections the difference overall on a long ride is minimal between my DF and my S30 as the random stop for 30 to 40 seconds eats up the time (depends on your luck with the lights). So I would imagine that while a S20 is more aerodynamic than a S30, a S40 is probably not all that much less faster. As for climbing on my S30, "spin!" and "spin" some more. I never noticed much flex in the front end when I mashed the pedals, but I can't keep that up for a 3 mile climb.
