This is the gray accent colors. Includes rear rack and headrest. SRAM bar end shifters, medium chainstay (includes short chainstay), close ratio cassette 15,16,17,19,21,23,25,28,32,36, curved boom (includes straight boom), FSA Gossamer Pro triple chainring 30/39/52, two bottle cages mounted behind seat, the seat uses velcro to hold the padding in place so you can change to your desire. I can also change to the original cassette which is 11-36 and the original 2 sprocket crank, your choice.

I am riding a trike and have adjusted the DF bike so the back is no longer strained and have not ridden this bike for quite some time so it will go. This is a sweet bike with no issues.

Priced at $3500, no box so will not ship.

I am curious where you got a 15 tooth 1st position cog. I assume you broke apart several cassettes to create your own custom one.

You assume correct. I did this for the trike also. Like it so much thought about taking it off the S40 to keep but am too lazy.

Bring this to the top. Start of a new year. Didn't ride it last year hardly at all.

New price--$3000 seems to be the going deal. Ready for the dirty Kanza with the close ratio cassette or set it up for the cross Kansas deal.

Did get an inquiry and to answer any further questions here was the reply:

The bike is as new. Never been down. The oem seat pad is included. Can't remember checking the rims or noticing any out of roundness but I can straighten them and having a truing fixture, I can spin them sometime but I'd expect them to be straight, haven't even ridden it enough to tighten the spokes. Really the bike is as new. The pedals are for flats on one side and clipless on the other.

I mostly tried the bike on a whim, first recumbent, it is impressive but just not my style at this time.

If someone did want the bike and shipped, I could take it down to the local bike shop and I'm sure they would be competent to handle that and have the boxes to do it. Don't know the pricing as I've never done this, it would be Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop in Lawrence, KS.

Guess the picture machine is working, see if I can post a couple more. Just behind the steering column is a reflection, there are no scratches on the finish. Somebody asked about the orientation of the handlebars--I've tried both and like them in this configuration, for shifting you don't have to lift the fingers off the handlebars and the bar ends are much better then the push brake lever to side type with less movement.

Just drooling as that is out of my price range but wow that's a nice bike and setup. I bet that transmission is like having your choice of 3 single speeds available at all times.

Still for sale. No disappointments here. Front derailleur upgrade to Shimano. You will like the bar end shifters. You may pay less but you will not get more. The front derailleur shift cable routing has been corrected, the wheel they use and the angle of attachment makes the shifting pretty stiff. This bike has the cable routed through the support in front of the bottom bracket which makes the transition smoother and angle of attachment much better for easier shifting and less strain on parts.

Plus all the extras of short chainstay and straight boom. The curved boom in its current configuration in the picture has the threaded inserts on top for a water bottle.

Yeah, tried attachment to the seat and couldn't disjoint the shoulder to grab them. Had them on the boom for a while but that kind of defeats the aero if there are other choices. Behind the seat is out of the air stream and just within reach. I guess a serious option would be behind the shoulder on the seat with feeder tubes. Not that serious.
