Schlumpf on a Freerider or Softrider

I realise there's a little weight penalty and a fairly big cost, but to get a wide gear range from any Cruzbike that doesn't have a derailleur post you have the option of the Schlumpf bottom bracket drives. The heel kick change is very light and shouldn't present an insurmountable problem in terms of steering input.

I've owned a trike with a high speed drive and in 1:1 it's silent but at 1.6:1 there is a bit of a whir..... but above 30 kph you can't hear it over the wind noise :)
