Hi Mark;

Black is the color I would have chosen anyway.
I didn't want to end up with a sharp pink. I'm getting ribbed enough for ordering a girls mountain bike. No one around here knows what the Cruzbike finishes out like so believe me I'm getting ribbed.

I really would have preferred blue though. As the pictures shows.

The fun part will be when they are talking about sore parts and at the end of 50 miles you have no sore parts and are ready to go out again just for the fun of riding with the upwrongs. :D

Hi Teacherbill;
Well I must say I'm smitten for bitten buffaloed or hypnotized or psyched or something because now I can't wait to get started. I'm going to go over to Harbor Freight right now and get me a clickable torque wrench for 20 bucks. So you bet I'm serious now. LOL

I'm surprised that no one has narrated the convert of an "Avalon" yet. So I will definitely try to narrate my doings here one this one. I will title it "Avalon" on this very thread when the kit comes in. I'm so psyched that I'll bet it all just slides together in one sitting. LOL

The time I saw it was the first time I saw it on the rack at Wallyworld. Could have been there but I was not looking for a "cushioned" bike to cruise on. Every conversion I have had my bottom on has been a hard tail giving a hard un-cushioned ride. I will be watching your progress as I will probably swap over the conversion parts to that bike to get a more cushioned ride.
